With a history dating back to the mid 1980's our Principals have more than 50 years experience in the life insurance market, so we understand the needs of consumers and businesses alike. The founders, Sy Alter, CLU and Christopher Snyder, CLU, ChFC are the original marketers of digital delivery insurance.

Christopher Snyder, CLU, ChFC

Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Snyder is a seasoned professional, with more than 25 years of experience in the Marketing Industry. As a founder of Spectrum eCommerce, one of the most prominent Financial Services and Marketing Organizations in the United States, he is a recognized expert on the topic of web-based life insurance best practices and an authority in his field of endeavor.

Sometimes called upon to speak at professional conferences, Mr. Snyder has addressed the International Business Forum, the Institute for International Research, the Society of Actuaries National Meeting and the Enrolled Actuaries National Meeting. A Charter Member of the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) he also serves as a member of the LIDMA Consumer Committee. In addition, Mr. Snyder has received the Chartered Life Underwriter professional designation, one of the highest-level designations available in the life insurance profession, as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

A well-respected authority on various financial marketing topics, Mr. Snyder's articles appear in relevant publications including "Pensions & Investments," "Options Newsletter," "Credit Matters" and other well-read publications. Insurance companies and financial institutions including New York Life, Pacific Life, AIG, GE Capital (FGIC), Nationwide Life, American Life, HSBC, Transacmerica and others have retained Mr. Snyder's expertise and services on a regular basis.

Mr. Snyder received his Bachelors degree from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and his Master's degree from the University of Santa Monica, California. He is a member of the Board of Mentors of the Erie Technology Incubator. Mr. Snyder has recently received the Gannon University President's Award for Excellence in Business and Civic Affairs. He resides in Pennsylvania.

Sy Alter, CLU

President

Seymour Alter is a veteran insurance professional with more than three decades of experience in the life insurance arena. Mr. Alter specializes in areas of insurance, estate planning, buying and selling insurance, deferred compensation and corporate benefits. He maintains a solid track record of success working closely with families, doctors, lawyers and other high profile individuals and businesses. Mr. Alter has also developed a lofty level of expertise providing life insurance coverage to individuals with health impairments ranging from by-pass surgery, hepatitis, diabetes, sleep apnea as well as various types of cancers and other maladies.

As a founder of Spectrum Direct, one of the most prominent life insurance organizations in the United States, he maintains a reputation for professionally providing an objective and qualified response to his client's needs. Known for his community minded activities, Mr. Alter also teaches continuing education to CPA's and other professionals, sharing his expertise in the areas of insurance, estate and retirement planning. He is a Charter Member of the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association, Charter member of the Consumer Life Insurance Education Foundation and also a member of the LIDMA Electronic Signature Committee. Mr. Alter received the Chartered Life Underwriter Professional Designation in the insurance industry from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in Mathematics and completed his education at St. John's University Graduate School.

Larry R. Taylor

Chief Operating Officer

Larry Taylor has over 30 years of experience as an executive, entrepreneur and technology professional having worked in Fortune 500 companies and founding his own organizations. He was the lead developer and ultimately Vice President at PDX NHIN, the leading pharmacy software company providing enterprise business solutions to large scale clients that included WalMart, Vons, Giant Foods and many others. As Director of Information Services at MAI Systems, he was responsible for the worldwide infrastructure of this $.5 Billion technology company. As an entrepreneur he created a national organization focused on the electronic distribution of health and wellness information through a network of thousands of health care providers. Larry is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and has a Master's Degree in Psychology with additional work towards his PhD. Mr. Taylor resides in Southern California.

Gary Freeman

Chief Financial Officer

Gary Freeman has more than seventeen years of experience in accounting and business consulting working with a variety of closely and publicly held growth businesses. He has held senior level management roles at numerous public and private technology companies. Gary is also a current member of the Board of Directors of GVI Security Solutions, Inc. where he serves as the board's Audit Committee Chairman. He spent ten years with BDO Seidman, LLP, including two years as an Audit Partner and a member of the firm's ten person strategic planning committee. Gary is co-founder of Catalyst Business Systems and C&F Properties which manages multi-family real estate properties in the Midwest. Gary has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Jack Robbins

VP, General Counsel

Jack Robbins has over 20 years of experience as a business law attorney and is responsible for all legal and compliance issues for the company. Before joining the team at eLife Marketers, he was in private law practice, specializing in representing new and existing business ventures, and served as General Counsel for numerous companies. Mr. Robbins is a member of the State Bar of California and the Association of Corporate Counsel, and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California. He has taught numerous continuing education seminars for lawyers, and is a frequent lecturer for the Chamber of Commerce, various business groups as well as serving on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations. Mr. Robbins graduated with his law degree from Loyola Law School and later graduated cum laude from CSUN with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Doug Donnenfield

VP, National Sales

Douglas Donnenfield has over 40 years experience in the insurance industry as a Sr. Executive and Founder. He was the first nationally licensed agent to sell insurance through direct marketing channels. Early in his career in Canada Doug was personally responsible for placing over $2.7 Billion in face amounts in just a four year period. In 1997 he was Director of Insurance Distribution for Banc One Insurance Group, which at the time was considered to be the most profitable bank channel insurance program in the U.S.

In 2000, Doug became President of Insurate, a Texas-based direct marketing insurance call center serving the bank and financial institution market. After the acquisition of Insurate, Doug was appointed Chief Marketing Officer for iQuote Insurance Services, the first internet insurance marketing organization in the U.S. focused on Life and Annuity sales. At iQuote, he was responsible for developing the life industry's first e-signature and e-payment format model which lead the way for many of today's term insurance carriers.

In 2004, he became Vice President of the Independent Direct Marketers channel for AIG American General and managed all AIG Life Brokerage's direct marketing relationships throughout the U.S. Doug studied at The Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Canada with an emphasis of graphic design and marketing. He is a member of LIAMA, LIDMA, and other active Insurance organizations.

Chris Parker

Director, IT

Chris Parker joined the company in February, 2006, and currently serves as Director of Information Technology. He brings to eLife Marketers over 10 years of e-commerce experience, including affiliate marketing and management of high volume websites. Prior to eLife Marketers, Chris spent most of his career with PC Mall, a publicly traded direct marketer of technology products, services, and solutions to businesses, government, and educational institutions. He successively held various positions in marketing, business development and web development. Before he left PC Mall, Mr. Parker led the division responsible for the development and maintenance of e-commerce fulfillment websites for computer industry clients such as D-Link, Averatec and IOGEAR. Chris is an alumnus of California State University, Fullerton.
